The shoreline of Anna's island, with the ruins and the water she cannot cross without a bridge

Among the Trolls is a first-person survival adventure set on a Finnish archipelago, and it releases on 14 October 2026. You play Anna, who travels from the United States to her grandfather's remote cabin and finds him gone, her brother gone, and a talking Crow that will not tell her the whole story. What follows is a slow, atmospheric game about survival, Finnish mythology and the Kalevala, built around two systems the store page names outright: Väki (magic) and Lykky (luck, or the balance of a region's energies).

These guides are written for the release build. Everything here is checked against the official record — the Steam page, the developers' thirteen devlogs, their announcements, their FAQs and their patch notes — and where the February 2026 demo worked differently, that is flagged rather than mixed in.
